Sources
Below is a list of sources who were instrumental in helping with the construction of this website's database.

Kent 'Superman' Blanton
He knows more about what an American Standard is supposed to sound like than anyone on the planet. Superman has used them extensively for several years and is one of the people responsible for ensuring the American Standard's legendary status in the bluegrass and country scenes.

Dennis Crouch
A true 'bassist's bassist', he has recorded and performed with American Standards in movies (most recently, "Walk the Line--he played BRILLIANTLY on the soundtrack), on the Opry, with Del McCoury, Nashville Bluegrass Band, and a host of other greats, using American Standards on the road extensively.

Roger Stowers
An expert on the Kay Bass with years of experience tracking and cataloging Kay upright basses. His website is available HERE.

Chris Charvat
My profound thanks to the archivist and historian for the H.N. White family and corporate history website.
He has spent many hours painstakingly building the only website maintained by the H. N. White family. It's a labor of love and the music world appreciates it. The site is located HERE.

Ike Harris
A professional Nashville-based touring and recording bassist and respected educator, Ike has also been a diligent researcher who got me started on this website with his own valuable accumulated data on American Standards. An American Standard aficianado, Ike uses his bass for touring and recording with Crystal Gayle, and the Titan 7 Jazz band.

And thanks to everyone at talkbass.com, nortoncustoms.com, uptonbass.com, and bgBass-L for your support. And THANK YOU to all the contributors to this website.
