general/historical info about those basses is included. These dates, although mostly
correct or very close to correct, are not 100% verifiable.

Found in
Sioux City, Iowa and shipped to MD in 2004. Brass tuners. One of the
keys fell off and replaced, but matched perfectly. Neck reset. Honey
brown w/ original ebony fingerboard and tailpiece. Plate engraved
"King Moretone, H.N. White, Cleveland O". No decals--"King Moretone"
is branded on the upper back, beneath the button. Also branded twice
inside on the back. Label is intact, through hard to read with
age. New Gotz endpin, but drilled through the bottom block to
accomodate a
LaBorie
carbon-fiber 44 degree system.
Gotz shaft

edges intact. Engraved tuners (steel/brass) timprinted with 'King
Moretone'. Carved scrolls. The crown decal on the back of the
neck/neck block area is fully intact. The interior label is
stamped 'Patent Applied for'. Condition is near mint
